Thinking about ways you can make your home more green, energy-efficient and save money? Come see AWD at the Building Blocks for Energy-Efficient Homes event at the Westchester County Center on June 5, 2013 at 5:30pm. Marvin is the market leader in energy efficient windows and doors, including styles with Ultrex fiberglass made from silica sand – a safe and abundant natural resource. AWD is proud to feature Marvin’s ENERGY STAR rated products, made with environmental protection in mind – and that is why AWD is Westchester’s Authorized Marvin Design Gallery.

The event is sponsored by Westchester County Executive Robert P. Astorino and the New York League of Conservation Voters Education Fund. Attendees will learn about the most cost-efficient ways to green your home, participate in panel discussions on environmentally friendly design, and meet green business representatives to help you make the right choices. Astorino stated, "This will be a one-stop place for residents to find out about every aspect of greening their homes. Our goal is to educate residents about cost-efficient, sustainable housing solutions and let them hear from a variety of experts who can guide them through the process.” Admission is free, but advance registration is requested. Click here to register. The Westchester County Center is located at 198 Central Avenue in White Plains. We look forward to seeing you!
