1. Program Overview

Authentic Window Design (“AWD”) offers a referral program that rewards eligible customers who refer new clients for window or door projects. When a referred individual signs a contract with AWD and the applicable right of rescission expires without cancellation, the referring customer becomes eligible to receive a $250 American Express gift card. By submitting a referral, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not participate.

2. Eligibility

To participate as a referring customer, you must:

Be a past or present AWD customer, age 18 or older.
Be a resident of a state where the Program is offered. The Program is currently available to residents of New Jersey, unless an exception is made at AWD’s sole discretion.
Not be a current AWD employee, affiliate employee, or immediate family or household member of one.
Submit your referral before the referred individual has had any contact with AWD or been entered into AWD’s database.

The referred individual must be a new AWD customer, not reside in the same household as the referring customer, and must sign a contract for windows or doors within 12 months of referral submission.

3. How to Submit a Referral

Referrals must be submitted using the official AWD referral form at authenticwindow.com/referral before any AWD contact with the referred individual. Your submission must include your full name, email, and phone number, and the referred individual’s full name and phone number. Verbal or informal referrals will not be accepted. Submission does not guarantee reward issuance.

4. Reward Trigger

A reward is earned only when all of the following conditions are met:

The referral was submitted via the official form prior to any AWD contact with the referred individual.
The referred individual has signed a contract with AWD for windows or doors.
The applicable right of rescission period has expired without cancellation. No reward will be issued while the right of rescission remains active. Cancellation during the rescission period voids the referral.
AWD has internally approved the payout.

5. Reward Details

Amount: $250 American Express gift card, sent directly to you within 60 days of all eligibility conditions being confirmed.
Eligible projects: Windows or doors only. Other project types do not qualify. Referral limit: No limit. Each qualifying referral earns a separate $250 reward. Non-transferable: Gift cards may not be transferred or redeemed for cash.
Format: Physical or eGift card at AWD’s discretion.

6. Disqualification and Voided Referrals

A referral will be voided and no reward issued if:

The referral was submitted after AWD had already contacted the referred individual.
The referred individual cancels their contract during or after the right of rescission period (if the gift card has not yet been issued).
The referred individual does not sign a contract within 12 months of referral submission.
Either party is ineligible under Section 2, or either party violated these Terms.
AWD determines the referral was submitted in bad faith. AWD’s eligibility determinations are final.

7. Taxes

Referring customers are solely responsible for any applicable federal, state, or local taxes on rewards received. AWD will issue a Form 1099-MISC where required by law (currently applicable when total rewards reach $600 or more in a calendar year). Consult a tax advisor for guidance.

8. Program Changes and Termination

AWD reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Program at any time, with or without notice, including changes to the reward amount, eligibility criteria, or submission process. Updated Terms will be posted at authenticwindow.com/referral and are effective upon posting. Continued participation constitutes acceptance of updated Terms.

9. Privacy

By submitting a referral, you consent to AWD collecting and using the personal information provided for Program administration purposes. AWD will not sell this information to third parties.

10. Limitation of Liability and Governing Law

AWD’s total liability to any referring customer shall not exceed $250. AWD is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the Program. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New York.
